Stick a fork in Argentina. It has now been offered by their Senate for full service of the Enemy of the Soul. Sickening VIDEO

It is a tough beginning of the day.

The video in the tweet below is illustrative. What flashed through my head is the book by Michael O’Brian, Voyage To Alpha Centauri. US HERE – UK HERE  Esp. this part HERE

I literally had a moment of nausea as I listening to the chant of what is obviously a majority mob of women.

Stick a fork in Argentina. It has now been offered by their Senate for full service of the Enemy of the Soul.

As far as @Pontifex is concerned, I don’t have a strong recollection that after that pronouncement he actually did anything regarding his native place.

EVIL… jumping around and jibbering.

More news from the front.

Charles Coulombe has a piece at Crisis called,

Stupiditas Omnia Vincit.

To which I respond: rem acu tetigisti.   This has been evident lately in the shrillness of even some “trads” on Twitter.   Just reading the magisterial declarations of the dilettante tweeter flock is enough to lower your IQ.  Do your best not to get stuck in that nasty logorrhea afflicted tar baby.

Back to Coulombe and his premise: Stupidity conquers all.

The writer identifies yet another threat on the horizon from educators.  I use “educators” with a wry twist, since they are more and more revealed as agents of ideologies, rather than legitimate formators of young minds.

Go over there and read his observations about …

an organized campaign to purge such evil books from school bookshelves called the “#DisruptTexts campaign.”

[…]

Somewhat nauseated by all of this, I went to the website of the #DisruptTexts campaign. There I found its mission statement:

Disrupt Texts is a crowdsourced, grassroots effort by teachers for teachers to challenge the traditional canon in order to create a more inclusive, representative, and equitable language arts curriculum that our students deserve. It is part of our mission to aid and develop teachers committed to anti-racist/anti-bias teaching pedagogy and practices.

How do the harpies involved tend to do this?

Each week, join us for the #DisruptTexts slow chat on Twitter as teachers from across the country and world come together to apply a critical lens on a central text. We’ll discuss how to disrupt traditional pedagogies by suggesting alternative titles and approaches through thoughtful pairings, counter-narratives, and inclusive, diverse texts sets.

Dear reader, this is no joke.

After WWII, the Communists and Christian Democrats were fighting for power.  Communist philosopher Antonio Gramsci had laid out the Communist long-term strategy, a kind of “long march”.  He said, in effect, “Forget parliament.  We will take the schools.  In forty years people will beg us to take everything!”

After WW2 that is exactly what the Commies did.  They let the Christian Democrats have parliament.  They took the schools.  The long term results have been devastating.

This is war, friends.  Total, unrestricted, asymmetrical war.

Consider what these agents of Hell want to do the minds of your children and what they want to allow to be read and what they want to force you to read.

That’s the next step.  Not to give you a choice between a classical canon and their disruption.

These are totalitarians.

They will start out with proposed alternatives, which soon become the only option.  Then it won’t be an option, it’ll be obligatory.

That’s how they roll.  That’s what they have systematically done with the homosexualist agenda over the decades, especially through the entertainment industry.  What was once unthinkable, rapidly became obligatory viewing on all TV.  And they are not finished.  The golden ring on their “merry go round” is the lowering of the age of consent.   And when that becomes an option, soon after it will be obligatory.

Do you have the spiritual weapons do deal with this?

Think about how in time of COVID-1984, the Wuhan Devil, steps have been taken by the State and the Church alike (both infiltrated) to limit the availability of the ordinary means of our salvation… the sacraments.

It’s almost as if it were coordinated.

The Enemy is very good at being an Enemy and he always tells you what he is doing.

Again, do you have the spiritual weapons for this fight?   Spiritual weapons are, of course, a matter of personal discipline, habits of prayer and life.  Spiritual weapons include, of course, the sacraments and sacramentals.  However, grace builds on nature. Grace doesn’t replace nature.

You have to do your part to get into spiritual shape for this war.

Before a sports season begins, athletes train.  They train before and during and right up to the champion moment.   Musicians practice endlessly.  War fighters drill and drill and drill so that when it is time to GO! their training curbs their fear and the physiological and psychological changes that the “black zone” brings.

This is how we have to think of ourselves now.  There is wisdom to the Church calling us the Church Militant.

One think I will add to this rant, is an appeal to more traditional, more conservative Catholics to shake off the fog that has been building since the Wuhan Devil has worked its diabolical erosion on hearts and minds.  Shake off the fog and cobwebs.   Stop the atomization of our different groupings or leanings.

People with slightly differing views on X or Y ARE NOT THE ENEMY.

Pray for humility.  Pray for patience.  Pray for prudence.

Stop tearing at each other.

You are, friends, doing the work of the Devil.

If you cannot control your impulses on, for example, Twitter, to listen to another point of view without lashing out, … pluck out your Twitter and cast it off.

That’s just one example.

This is a time for unity, not further atomization at our own hands.

And… you PRIESTS and BISHOPS out there.

LEARN THE TRADITIONAL MASS.  USE THE TRADITIONAL RITUAL.

Enough of this screwing around with the half-baked, the tolerable.

Let’s get real.

St. Joseph, Terror of Demons, pray for us.

In this, I am decidedly pro Trans!

Here are tidings of great joy.   In this, I am decidedly pro-trans.

I was reminded that the Transalpine Redemptorists of Papa Stronsay, received an invitation to establish a monastery in the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings.

They are in Montana now too.   They are growing.  OF COURSE.  Their site HERE

This is their Rosa Mystica community.  Rosa Mystica is a title of the Blessed Virgin in the Litany of Loreto.

Their chapel is “The Bonnie Prince”!  Take a look.

They write:

We are seeking donations towards the building of the monastery at Montana Rosa Mystica.
If you would like to send a contribution please make checks payable to:
“Transalpine Redemptorists Inc.”
and send them to us at our current address which is:
Most Holy Rosary House
1809 Brusett Road
Jordan MT 59337

There are many reasons to support communities like this… always. Especially now. Now.

This is a time of intense spiritual warfare. The life these folks have chosen is a mighty force in this war.

Two good stories: Blue Angels and Tiny Houses

A couple of good notes.

First, from the Navy Times I read that the Blue Angels are up in the air again in their new F-18 Super Hornets.

New in 2021: Blue Angels to start flying F/A-18 Super Hornets

[…]

The Blue Angels will start flying F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet fighter jets in 2021, replacing the legacy F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets that the flight demonstration team has flown for 34 years.

[…]

The Blue Angels’ final flight in the legacy F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet was completed in November and the team has since started their winter training at Naval Air Station Pensacola in Florida. They will head to their winter training facilities in El Centro, California, in January to conduct training prior to the 2021 season.

View the Blue Angels’ full 2021 and 2022 schedule here. The Blue Angels plan to kick off their first air show in 2021 in April at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida, as part of the NAS Jax Air Show, and are scheduled to finish out the season at the NAS Pensacola Homecoming Air Show in November. Altogether, the Blue Angels are slated to appear at a total of 30 locations in 2021 for their 75th season.
The Blue Angels have also already released their 2022 air show schedule, and are on deck to appear at a total of 32 locations. The 76th season will start in March at Naval Air Facility El Centro in California for the NAF El Centro Annual Air Show and will wrap up in November at Naval Air Station Pensacola in Florida for the NAS Pensacola Homecoming Air Show.

Next, some nice from the Marine Times.

Marine Corps veteran left homeless gets new tiny house for Christmas

Christmas, the season of perpetual hope, was three months distant when Hoy M. Young Jr.’s home caught fire and burned to the ground.

While hope might have been a hard sell for Young at the time, hands and hearts were already joining forces to lighten the U.S. Marine Corps veteran’s burden.

Young managed to escape the Sept. 22 fire with his life and little more than a lungful of smoke.

“For a week after the fire, I was kind of hoarse,” he said.

A native of Fayette County and a former resident of Charleston, West Virginia, Young enlisted in the Marine Corps in the early 1970s, as the United States was beginning to wind down its military presence in Vietnam.

“I’ve always loved my country,” he said. “It seemed like the right thing to do.”

Young spent eight years in the Corps, part of it overseas and the latter part at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia.

Be sure to read to the end.

Pres. @realDonaldTrump ‘s Proclamation on 850th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Saint Thomas Becket

Pres. Trump issued a proclamation for the 850th anniversary of the Martyrdom of St. Thomas Becket.  Note, that in this proclamation, Pres. Trump mentions Card. Zen and the plight of Christians under the Communists.  WhiteHouse.gov

Proclamation on 850th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Saint Thomas Becket

Today is the 850th anniversary of the martyrdom of Saint Thomas Becket on December 29, 1170. Thomas Becket was a statesman, a scholar, a chancellor, a priest, an archbishop, and a lion of religious liberty.

Before the Magna Carta was drafted, before the right to free exercise of religion was enshrined as America’s first freedom in our glorious Constitution, Thomas gave his life so that, as he said, “the Church will attain liberty and peace.”

The son of a London sheriff and once described as “a low?born clerk” by the King who had him killed, Thomas Becket rose to become the leader of the church in England. When the crown attempted to encroach upon the affairs of the house of God through the Constitutions of Clarendon, Thomas refused to sign the offending document. When the furious King Henry II threatened to hold him in contempt of royal authority and questioned why this “poor and humble” priest would dare defy him, Archbishop Becket responded “God is the supreme ruler, above Kings” and “we ought to obey God rather than men.”

Because Thomas would not assent to rendering the church subservient to the state, he was forced to forfeit all his property and flee his own country. Years later, after the intervention of the Pope, Becket was allowed to return — and continued to resist the King’s oppressive interferences into the life of the church. Finally, the King had enough of Thomas Becket’s stalwart defense of religious faith and reportedly exclaimed in consternation: “Will no one rid me of this meddlesome priest?”

The King’s knights responded and rode to Canterbury Cathedral to deliver Thomas Becket an ultimatum: give in to the King’s demands or die. Thomas’s reply echoes around the world and across the ages. His last words on this earth were these: “For the name of Jesus and the protection of the Church, I am ready to embrace death.” Dressed in holy robes, Thomas was cut down where he stood inside the walls of his own church.

Thomas Becket’s martyrdom changed the course of history. It eventually brought about numerous constitutional limitations on the power of the state over the Church across the West. In England, Becket’s murder led to the Magna Carta’s declaration 45 years later that: “[T]he English church shall be free, and shall have its rights undiminished and its liberties unimpaired.”

When the Archbishop refused to allow the King to interfere in the affairs of the Church, Thomas Becket stood at the intersection of church and state. That stand, after centuries of state-sponsored religious oppression and religious wars throughout Europe, eventually led to the establishment of religious liberty in the New World. It is because of great men like Thomas Becket that the first American President George Washington could proclaim more than 600 years later that, in the United States, “All possess alike liberty of conscience and immunities of citizenship” and that “it is now no more that toleration is spoken of, as if it was by the indulgence of one class of people, that another enjoyed the exercise of their inherent natural rights.”

Thomas Becket’s death serves as a powerful and timeless reminder to every American that our freedom from religious persecution is not a mere luxury or accident of history, but rather an essential element of our liberty. It is our priceless treasure and inheritance. And it was bought with the blood of martyrs.

As Americans, we were first united by our belief that “rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God” and that defending liberty is more important than life itself. If we are to continue to be the land of the free, no government official, no governor, no bureaucrat, no judge, and no legislator must be allowed to decree what is orthodox in matters of religion or to require religious believers to violate their consciences. No right is more fundamental to a peaceful, prosperous, and virtuous society than the right to follow one’s religious convictions. As I declared in Krasi?ski Square in Warsaw, Poland on July 6, 2017, the people of America and the people of the world still cry out: “We want God.”

On this day, we celebrate and revere Thomas Becket’s courageous stand for religious liberty and we reaffirm our call to end religious persecution worldwide. In my historic address to the United Nations last year, I made clear that America stands with believers in every country who ask only for the freedom to live according to the faith that is within their own hearts. I also stated that global bureaucrats have absolutely no business attacking the sovereignty of nations that wish to protect innocent life, reflecting the belief held by the United States and many other countries that every child — born and unborn — is a sacred gift from God. Earlier this year, I signed an Executive Order to prioritize religious freedom as a core dimension of United States foreign policy. We have directed every Ambassador — and the over 13,000 United States Foreign Service officers and specialists — in more than 195 countries to promote, defend, and support religious freedom as a central pillar of American diplomacy.

We pray for religious believers everywhere who suffer persecution for their faith. We especially pray for their brave and inspiring shepherds — like Cardinal Joseph Zen of Hong Kong and Pastor Wang Yi of Chengdu — who are tireless witnesses to hope.

To honor Thomas Becket’s memory, the crimes against people of faith must stop, prisoners of conscience must be released, laws restricting freedom of religion and belief must be repealed, and the vulnerable, the defenseless, and the oppressed must be protected. The tyranny and murder that shocked the conscience of the Middle Ages must never be allowed to happen again. As long as America stands, we will always defend religious liberty.

A society without religion cannot prosper. A nation without faith cannot endure — because justice, goodness, and peace cannot prevail without the grace of God.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim December 29, 2020, as the 850th anniversary of the martyrdom of Saint Thomas Becket. I invite the people of the United States to observe the day in schools and churches and customary places of meeting with appropriate ceremonies in commemoration of the life and legacy of Thomas Becket.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-eighth day of December, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-fifth.

DONALD J. TRUMP

No live-stream Mass today, alas. Prayers requested.

Folks, I can’t do a live-streamed Mass today. I wouldn’t inflict it on you.

Something is deeply wrong with the muscles in my upper back ever since the afternoon of Christmas Day.  Yesterday, I got through Mass. Today… well… I’ll try later.

In any event, I would appreciate your prayers for the swift relief of the pain.  It isn’t just when I move – amazing how many things are connected to the back – it’s constant.

Meanwhile, this is an opportunity to offer the pain for some people who have been less than charitable to me lately on social media, one of whom even threatened the bishop here.  This is par for the course, naturally.  However, in addition to prayers I usually usually say for them what that stuff pops up, as it occasionally does, this time I also get to bring the big guns in.

Meanwhile, I’ve also been appealing to the saints whose relics are at my private altar and I’ve asked the Holy Angels to do their part.  Hopefully some teamwork will prevail… and FAST.   If not… well, I’ll deal with that as I may.

In case you are wondering, I am still able to recite – and DO recite, Ch. 3 of Title 11 of the Rituale Romanum precisely for the objects I have so often laid out.  And I continue to pray for protection against demonic influence of anyone involved in the certification of the presidential election.

I find it interesting that the attacks from the people on social media revolve around my recitation of an exorcism.

I find it also interesting that on the one day in a long time that I didn’t say the exorcism, Christmas Day, the back thing hit.

Coincidence?

Exorcists will explain that just as there is a connection between the members of the Church which is Christ’s Mystical Body, there is also a connection between those who are witting and unwitting servants of the Enemy of the Soul in a mocking ugly mirror of Christ’s Body.  One of my exorcist friends told me that these agents can be activated and directed in a coordinated way, and they don’t even realize who they are being instrumentalized.

This is all part of the “visible and invisible” by which we are surrounded.  This is all part of the spiritual war we are all involved in, like it or not.  And in war there are unpleasant things.  We have to be ready to do our parts with the help of the angels and also through the graces which the Sacrament of Confirmation brings to us.

Mary, Queen of Angels… protect us.
Mary, Queen of the Clergy… help me.
St. Michael… defend us.

26 Dec: St. Stephen the Protomartyr, his Archconfraternity, the Octave

In addition to Boxing Day, and the day good King Wenceslaus went out, it is the feast of St Stephen. I hope all your snow is neat and crisp and even.

For my part I was content with 50 and green.

St. Stephen’s feast has been celebrated this day since the earliest centuries of the Church’s life.

We are also in the Octave of Christmas. Octaves are mysterious. For Holy Church time is suspended so that we can rest in the mystery of the feast.  In her wisdom, Holy Church “stops” her clock so that we contemplate the mystery of the feast from different angles, through different lenses.

St. Stephen reminds us of the consequences of discipleship.  He is usually depicted surrounded by people who are beating him to death with rocks.

Today, agents serving the “mystical body of Satan” – witting and unwitting – use Twitter to do that.

As I said, there are consequences of discipleship.

Are you ready for consequence in the days remaining to you?   Consequences can be more or less dramatic.  I think we need to get our heads into mental places wherein we can imagine even dire consequences.

I also congratulate all the members of the Archconfraternity of St. Stephen!  This is a guild of altar boy that started in England.  The first chapter ever outside of England was at my home parish of St. Agnes, in St. Paul.  In the sacristy there was a letter from the Archbishop of Westminster approving the chapter and each year on this day the new boys were enrolled.

I am enrolled!  Just after I entered the Church.

We asked the Archbishop of Westminster for permission to start one here as well.  Hopefully, this new year will see it rise up!
