    1. If that’s an angel, I’d like to contact him for some business…just a little business. He looks formidable and determined; and I’m not referring to the bloke lying on the ground with his eyes popping out!!

    4. Great photo!

Hey, Father, seriously, this blog is an awesome place for us displaced Catholics to come and cut-up a bit! I live in South Carolina; and it really is interesting being a Catholic here, at times (although generally the people are wonderful)!

So, it’s nice to stop in here, and get my Catholic dose for the day! I hail, originally, from a part of the west where the majority are catholic, now I’m in a part of the east where it’s 5%, notwithstanding the Mexican immigrants! So, I’m a fish on dry land, so to speak!

But, I find the climate, and politics, agreeable, so I will stay, until God calls me elsewhere….

    5. Reminds me of those freaky Weeping Angels from Doctor Who. “Don’t Blink, blink and you’re dead!”

    11. Dear Fr. Z!

Wow! I am a long-time reader of your ineffable (sorry, couldn’t resist) blog (I even adopted your emphasis/comment method for some of my articles – hope that’s okay). Seeing that you seem to be reading “rom, römer, am römsten” occasionally or even by chance was a nice surprise! Thanks for the link and keep up the great work!

      In Christ,
      Alipius

    14. Very funny photo. Dom Alipius is always a good source for Putti.

In this new world, it takes Father Z to let me know what about a funny post on a brother’s website. But, I hope that he gets some readers on his blog. It is very good (if your speak German).

    15. Oh that’s FUNNY!

I like the ‘float like a butterfly, sting like a bee’ that gmaskell used….
