CLICK

I will be in central London today on sundry errands and quests. Should anyone like to meet for a pint in the afternoon, I will be

17:30 at The Coal Hole.

Also, I am forwarding my London phone number (020… or Skype call to “WDTPRS”) – found on the left side bar of this blog – to my mobile. You can also text to 07501852559.

Only a couple more days here! Sniff.

I’ve had a couple voicemails from people wanting to confirm the time and place. Yes, as above! I don’t know if we will be upstairs or down. Down was pretty warm last time.

    Father,
Can you see me turning green with envy? I am sorry but I can’t join you for a pint.
I was just in the neighborhood the middle two weeks of September; London, Oxford, Kent. I did my bit to support the brewing industry. Down in Kent I enjoyed seeing the very charming custom of festooning the bar areas of pubs with hop vines. If you see any such perhaps you could post some pix.
I was near Dover/Folkstone on Battle of Britain Day and witnessed a magnificent flyover of a Spitfire and a Hurricane.
I read WDTPRS everyday, please keep up the good work.

    God Bless…

Looks like there is a 1% chance of getting drinks on the house, father :D

Father Z, if you get a chance, try and sneak out at some point to a concert a Wigmore Hall. It’s one of London’s true gems.

  5. I think we will be downstairs. So far.

Sorry – would love to come, but wrong end of the country. Why not come up to Lancaster and the Lake District?…

I sincerely hope you had a great blog. I have the dubious pleasure of living in a country right now where I can get the Internet everywhere on WiFi, but cannot get water and electricity into my apartment. Such weird times in which we live…..happy blognic if anyone is still there.
