YOUR URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

Please use the sharing buttons! Thanks!

Registered or not, will you in your charity please take a moment look at the requests and to pray for the people about whom you read?

Continued from THESE.

I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Many requests are heart-achingly grave and urgent.

As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below. You have to be registered here to be able to post.

I still have a pressing personal petition.  I could use your prayers, frankly.  The recent past has brought some bad and discouraging news and, as I foresee, there is worse on the horizon.  I must move into warfare mode soon.

Pray for the poor suffering Christians in Iraq!

Sts. Nunilo and Alodia, pray for us!

  2. HeatherPA says:

My dear friend SP, 42 yo in end stage cancer, that she doesn’t die outside the sacraments.
My husband, who has his third interview Wednesday for a very good job 13 miles from our home.
My unborn daughter, for a easy, safe delivery and health of mind and body.
Will be praying for all intentions listed.

  3. maryg says:

Please pray for my daughter who is having surgery (as I type this) for thyroid cancer. I will be praying for all the prayer intentions listed here as well.

  4. Cafea Fruor says:

Please pray for my mother. She’s severely mentally ill and has been off her medicine for what seems like eons now, and she’s getting worse and worse. And until she becomes dangerous, I can’t help her one iota, so please also pray for me to be patient with her but also to let go of worry, accept my inability to help, and just hand it over to our ever-capable Father.

  5. Liz says:

Please pray for a resolution to my daughter who has been sick for 18 months. Thanks and prayers for all of your intentions.

  6. Liz says:

    *for my daughter

  7. APX says:

My vocation discernment has been put on hold until I get my large student loan debt paid off. I would like to get it down as low as possible within the next two years so I can resume discernment, which will require a lot of fortitude, wisdom and generously.

  8. Mike says:

For Marian fortitude in acceptance of the will of God as I deal with personal and professional challenges.
For my 91-year-old neighbor B. as she continues to recover from her recent stroke.
That my brother may return to the sacraments after an absence of nearly 50 years and bring his family with him.

    Prayers ascending for everyone here.

  9. aviva meriam says:

Please Pray for A.B. as she works to build a new life. Please pray for her father, sister and brother who are struggling due to unhealthy choices.

Please pray for me that God will Grant me the path forward to rebuild my life and career so that I can better support myself and my family.

  10. Quanah says:

For two students who recently committed suicide (both within a month of each other) and for all the students, faculty, and staff was we continue to mourn.

  11. John Grammaticus says:

For our Persecuted Bretheren around the world, the conversion of those who persecute them and for two pressing personal intentions

    Will Pray for all here

  12. pgepps says:

    Praying through the list.

I have a friend who needs a right way out of a bind, but I should withhold the details. Pray that he will continue to be drawn into closer union with Christ, and be encouraged by the Untier of Knots along the way.

Another friend is beset with spiritual enmity and physical infirmity as he continues to strive to be faithful in leadership. Healing, rest, and the protection of St. Michael are all appropriate.

Finally, I could use your prayers, myself. A complication of my student loan situation leaves me in an unhappy stand-off with those who won’t correct their errors, no matter how many lives it ruins. I continue to do my best to be faithful while also appealling to those who can intervene. The solution lies with our Heavenly Father, however; I continue to seek the intercession of St. Jude, who has been mighty on my behalf in the past (so much so that I took him for my patron at my Confirmation).

Thanks be to God! And may our struggles be proven occasions of His mercies, in this life and the next.
    PGE

  13. iPadre says:

For two of our diocesan seminarians, one from my parish, who will be ordained deacons on October 2nd in St. Peter’s Basilica.

    Thank you.

  15. lmgilbert says:

Please remember my brother, Joe, who left the Church over the scandals, and became an evangelical/pentecostal:
    1) For his conversion
    2) He has begged prayers of me because of severe pains in his legs, back and hip due to an auto accident.
    3) for his daughter, Kelly, who is converting to Catholicism, that the Lord will give her an intense love of the Eucharist, Our Lady and the pope and use her as apostle in our very mixed up family.

    THANK YOU!

  17. Chris Garton-Zavesky says:

Ongoing prayers, please, to the Infant Jesus.

  18. Mike says:

Let’s not forget to offer up one another’s intentions at the Memento. No prayer on Earth has value to compare with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and there is no finer way for us in the pews to assist at Mass than to unite our intentions of adoration, praise, thanksgiving, reparation, and impetration with those of the priest at the altar — especially as Fr. Z and all faithful priests gird for the coming chastisement.

  19. KateD says:

Please pray for a woman who I met today while out shopping. She was married in the Catholic church at a very young age and attended regularly until at 19 her husband left her for another woman. She was told she could no longer receive the sacraments or participate in the life of the church. She led a life apart from God for a number of years and then became born again and married a Lutheran. I don’t believe our meeting today was happen stance. I believe our Lord is calling her back to her faith. Please pray with me for Karen’s return home to the Catholic Church.

  20. Eugene says:

I have prayed for all above plus Father Z’s intention to our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus and with the intercession of our Blessed Mother and St Joseph.
I ask for your prayers for the return to the sacraments of my wife and children, for my son Nicholas that he may find work, for my recently widowed father and for the repose of the soul of my recently deceased mother, who I miss very much.
    God bless you all

  21. JonPatrick says:
