Here at The Sabine Farm we are having a bit of snow. How is this for a contrast to my window back in Roma?
The chapel last night, ready for the post supper visit to the Blessed Sacrament.
We had snow during the night, and the snow is still falling.
And from the front, the scene is near perfection. All this and a bright red barn. My front room is my office, so this is the view out the window as I work.

I would love to see these same images for the other seasons of Spring with tender green shoots on that tree and then summer in full green dress and then the colors of fall.

Farm thing Mr. Daly brought up in one of the threads was all imaginary! Who knew!!
Very pretty! Dinner looked good too on the other blog page. So…the house must
be a two story at least since the top picture of the chapel is at a different angle
than from your front room/office shot….You have the beautiful red barn…any critters?

My wife and I want to build a Catholic chapel on our property,we have 23 acres.
We want to have a priest offer the Classical rite mass everyday there for it is near impossible to find a church that offers it with this frequency.
We would like to get an idea of what needs to be done when we build the chapel.

Dan: Be very careful to speak to a priest about building a chapel. There are things most people will miss because they don’t have the experience of what is needed.
Dan: Check the current Code of Canon Law regarding private chapels and oratories. I dream of having one some day, even if it is just a room in my house, so I decided to consult an official source.
