Where are you?

It is fun to look at the stats for the blog to see where people are… more or less.

Here is a snapshot of some of your locations during the last 5 minutes or so.

Keep in mind this is not very exact.  Sometimes when we log onto the internet, the location given for us could actually be at some distance.  Also, some log-ins simply show "United States", which isn’t too helpful.

Still… I always find in amazing and humbling to see that so many people from around the world are checking in at the same time.

    Argggh!

I’m determined to get College Station, TX to show up on one of these things. I’ll just have to leave my browser open 24/7 on WDTPRS, I guess.

I am a faithful reader in Puerto Rico, but for some reason I never appear on your list. Perhaps this is your “naughty” list and I am filed under “nice” ???

  3. Let me try this again.

First, this is only a snap shot of a few minutes, not the whole day.

Second, the locations indicated are by no means exact.

There is no way I can give you a list of everyone who visits during a whole day. That would be several thousands of different places.

    Dear Fr Z,

Yes, I have now recieved your reply, and sorry for nagging you a bit about this.

Please do keep me in the loop as your plans to the UK confirm.

    Cheers,
    Yaqoob

Ooops! My bad! Perhaps I will now be demoted to “naughty”! Sorry!

One or two of us log on from time to time from tradition starved SE Asia. Only the SSPX serve this region from Singapore and the Philippines with much needed orthodox Roman Catholicism. Otherwise ignorance abounds and some ill-disguised eastern style despotism.

Thank you for your open and honest approach to contemporary issues Father Z. The pictorial materials are sometimes very useful. The “rose” vestments for Gaudete Sunday are very good for showing to my dear children.

    Fr. Z.,

If I could see your viewing stats in full, I’d be counting the entries for “Vatican City.”

    They’re the really important ones!

  8. Patricia Gonzalez says:

Good morning, Father — checking in from Hudson, Quebec, southwest of Montreal. Bonjour, tout le monde, et joyeux Noel!

  9. Jim McPake says:

Dear Fr Z I’m on board the North Alwyn oil rig half way between the North end
of the Shetland Isle’s and Norway, you can’t get much more remote than this.
I don’t get home until the 29/12/07, so please remember all the guys who help
keep the lights on while you are at Mass during the Christmas season.
