Done and sent!
I pray for our troops everyday, that they will be safe and come home to their families.
Mary Immaculate, patroness of the USA and ‘Valiant Virgin’, pray for those who defend our nation.
St. Michael the Archangel, St. George, St. Barbara [patroness of artillerymen-her feast is today], and St. Joan of Arc, pray for our troops, be with them when they are in harm’s way.
Done, along with daily prayers to St Michael for all of our troops. For those inclined and able to help materially the wounded warrior foundation is worth investigating.
And St. Mauritius, patron of infantrymen, leader of a Roman unit in Egypt (maniple or cohort, several hundred soldiers) who had all converted and whom all refused to offer sacrifices to the Emperor, and so were executed.
And folks, as a former servicemember who is now in the defense/aero industry (St. Barbara is also patron of engineers and ammunition workers, BTW!), remember to pray for their leaders to always employ the armed forces justly.
Done and sent!
What a good idea!
Done! Thank YOU, Father, for bringing this to our attention. I pray for our troops each day. Being a military daughter, wife, and mother, this is a cause so dear to my heart.
