I will perservere in prayer for Father Z and his personal petitions as well as for all who post here.
I would greatly appreciate prayers for my husband, Pat. He was diagnosed in March with a serious heart problem. He had a surgery in August that appeared successful but ended up not working. He has another surgery scheduled on January 11th. Please pray that Pat be given a complete and permanent cure and that he will be protected from complications and reoccurances.
Thank you and Merry Christmas!
Fr, I will remember you and your intentions in my prayers. Thank you for all that you do.
Please remember my family: we have 5 pressing personal intentions (including my husband’s recovery from the surgery he’s having at this moment).
Please, in your charity, pray for the following:
SV and her family
RKS and her children and grandchildren: for God’s healing and merciful providence
For JKT and DET: healing, and reconciliation within the family
For ASM: for healing, comfort, guidance and providence
For BH and SH: for healing from surgery, guidance and comfort
For ES and VS : for God’s healing as he recovers from surgery
For FT: For God’s guidance and providence.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Please pray for F. Courtney Krier. He is doing a great job in a very difficult place. Las Vegas. Not only does he say Mass everyday in the EF , but he runs a food pantry and feed homeless folks. It’s the only place I go to Mass. 130 miles one way so I can’t go every Sunday
Hi All,
Please pray that our daughter returns to the Faith and the Sacraments. This will be her first Christmas without either. Our hearts are broken.
Thank you,
Kat
Praying.
I would appreciate prayers regarding an upcoming big career decision, that whatever happens be what is best for my family and that God’s will be followed and done. I will pray for you all, as well.
Please pray for my mother Kelly, who is 78 years old. She slipped and fell on Wednesday, December 20, and though no bones were broken, she has been in increasing pain. She went to work (she works part-time as a special education instructional aide in a high school) on Thursday and Friday because it was finals week and she needed to grade papers. (She can be very determined that way: if I had had a fall and was in pain, I would have stayed home.)
My brother just took her to the emergency room. I hope that she will not have to be hospitalized. I am so worried. Please pray for her. (She is also a non-churchgoing Methodist, and I have long prayed for her conversion to Catholicism: she is sympathetic to Catholicism already.)
Father Z, I will pray for your intentions.
Have a happy and holy Christmas!
I need a place to live and being low income, and the middle of winter, I’m struggling to find safe affordable housing that still makes it possible for me to get to work.
Please pray for my sister, Eileen.
She was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer,
after having been wrongly diagnosed for 7 months.
She needs:
1. a miracle;
2. a doctor who doesn’t consider her “as good as dead”;
3. hope;
4. a return to the Church after being away for about 25 years;
5. and did I mention a miracle?
Thanks to each of you who take a few seconds to pray for her.
Blessings to all here on Fr Z’s blog and of course to Fr Z.
For my nephew whose profound, untreated personality disorder shatters family peace especially at holiday times; and that his father return to the Church after a half-century’s absence and bring his family with him.
For a friend whose family’s Christmas joy is being squelched by political needling.
Prayers for all here, especially for safe travels and for healing.
Prayers, please, for my future daughter-in-laws father, JP. Brain aneurysm. Thank you.
Will include all of you in my prayers
Gentillylace, once after my dad fell on the ice they told him that he was fine, but they kept him at the hospital because he couldn’t walk. After an MRI or something like that instead of just an x-ray, it turned out that his ribs were broken in FIVE places (and one bone was displaced or something very painful.) Anyway, I just wanted to mention that if you mom is still having pain. I will pray for her.
Praying for all of these intentions and future ones.
Merry Christmas and God bless all of you. Fr. Z, it will be an Epiphany Card this year!
After posting this I will take some time to pray for these intentions, herein(above).
Could I ask for prayers for God’s will to be done, for the accompaniment of the Church in this, in the proper manner, situation:
My wife and her long-time adulterous partner(since 1990) have separated and are heading for an extremely bitter divorce which will, likely, seriously hurt them and our children(5 + 2) and our grandchildren(18).
They should divorce, but out of respect for our valid marriage. Not for their reasons and not with their understanding of things. Only the Church can address this, properly, in consultation with me and our children.
Karl
I am facing the most difficult situation of my life with consequences that affect every loved one in my life. Please pray for me. I prayed for the commenter’s intentions here. Thank you so much.
I will pray for all the intentions listed as well as your three, Father Z.
I have a very intense and frightening medical situation involving myself, that I am asking for prayers to be able to carry the cross of. I also am asking for prayers for my family, especially my husband of 22 years, as they are very scared and worried. I will have surgery within the next 6 weeks which will tell us if this is a terminal situation or not. I pray and need prayers for an increase in complete trust in God and his providential care.
thank you all and Merry Christmas!
Prayers for three personal intentions of mine would be deeply appreciated! Also pray for Mrs W, a young mother who has been diagnosed with rheumatism, that she finds a good treatment or even a cure! Please also pray for C, a 9 y/o, that his eye sight stops deteriorating.
Thank you!
