As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

I would like to pass along a prayer request I received from someone else:
“Please pray for ‘A.’ (…) [they are] out of surgery, expected to be cancer free, but facing a lifetime of debilitating disability and doubting the existence of a loving God.”
Our Lady of Consolation, pray for us.
Please pray for Fr F, one of the best! , who is severely burnt out. Ask St Therese to shower him with roses so that he regaines his strength and returnes to his position as soon as possible. This petition is very urgent indeed.

That, having sold our house to pay for my wife’s medical treatment, i may find a suitable place to live
For a miraculous healing of my uncle’s terminal brain tumor, but more importantly for his conversion.
My dad’s reversion to Catholicism. Strength to keep my advent penances and to make a good confession before Christmas.
Please pray for the conversion of my boss and the people in my workplace, most of which are nominal Catholics.
Also, please pray for the younger brother of J. who is suffering mentally, and also please pray for his whole family.
For the most forgotten soul in Purgatory.

For my younger brothers and my parents who are all going through a hard time, especially the youngest brother whose been abandoned by the mother of his little child and is falling apart in all the wrong ways, and my mother whose health is poor and getting worse. God have mercy.
Please pray for my beloved friend Jorge who is being ordained as a permanent Deacon this morning. May the Lord abundantly bless him in his ministry.
For my uncle in hospice. That his earthly suffering will come to an end. For my fiancé’s brother as he recovers from a severe illness. The recovery will be quite long. Another surgery is scheduled.
Prayers for a young woman in the hospital who is dying, her name is Michelle Neto. May she be prepared well to enter the heavenly kingdom.
Please pray for my friend’s little boy, Billy, that he may be healed from his potential birth defects. (He’s unborn–they’re having a fetal ultrasound next week to see what’s wrong, more specifically that what the ultrasound is showing.)
Greg the Obscure, my dear, I’m so sorry to read what’s happening with you and your wife. I started surfing the web for sites that might contain information which might be of help to you. One I came across which looked very good and comprehensive was “Need Help Paying Bills”

Did you know there are federal and private charitable grants available for people facing large medical debts? This site will get you started looking at these (I had no idea!)
Also, good info about seeking rental assistance, working with debtors, how to reduce expenses, and many more ideas are on this site. Please do check it out.
May Saint Joseph, patron of husbands and fathers of families, intercede for you and may you receive every grace and blessing through his prayers.

For the 9th bishop of the Diocese of Sioux Falls, Bishop-elect Donald DeGrood, that our Lord would fill with him with the courage of an apostle for his flock and the love of a father for his priests.
Please pray for the repose of the soul of Fr. Leonard Klein, who lost his battle with cancer last week. He prayed both the old and new Masses well, and was one of the most insightful and compassionate confessors I ever encountered.
Please pray for a very grave and personal intention. It’s very dire and a resolution is quickly needed.
For GD and IM- after many years of miscarriages my wife and I have been blessed and matched with a birth mom for adoption, please pray for the birth mom and our unborn baby – she hasn’t had much prenatal care. Thank you all.
Please pray for our dear, good bishop, Bishop James D. Conley, who has taken a medical leave of absence. I imagine that being a good and holy bishop or priest in these times is especially tough.
