Twitter Tip: shut off autoplay of animated GIFs

I use Tweetdeck to handle Twitter when working on my desktop.

Lately I’ve been seriously irritated by widely proliferating animated GIFs. That got old very quickly.

Today, I found that I could shut off “autoplay”!

Ahhhh….

    To assist some readers: I found the setting under Settings/General/DataUsage/Autoplay

    Twitter? What is this Twitter you speak of? I also keep hearing about this so-called thing the Facebook.

    In the preferences for individual columns you can also minimize media altogether, which I have found to keep the more active columns manageable and readable.
