For my brother, on this his birthday, to return to the faith.
For a special intention in our family.
Thanks, Fr. Z, for giving us these opportunities to pray within the communion of saints.
Fr. Z, please say a prayer for my mother who died this afternoon. She was in poor health before she caught the coronavirus but the virus finished her off over the last two weeks. May she rest in peace.
[I’m sure I can speak for everyone reading this. Be assured of our prayers. She and you will have mine. Deep condolences. Requiescat in pace!]
Prayers for those still deprived of public Mass. I hear expressions of real pain from them. Something very important to their spiritual lives has been taken away.
For my Godsister, who is in a bad place due to social isolation and is being tempted on multiple fronts by serious sins, that she might be, by the grace of God, be able to weather her storms and take the hands of those who are seeking to keep her away from the darkness.
Also, I second what Greg Hlatky said above.
For my mother-in-law Grace, 91, whose health is failing. She converted from Lutheranism many years ago to the Catholic faith of her husband, RIP, and raised her children in the faith.
For my son, Daniel, please, that his sleep study tonight yields a clear diagnosis and easy “fix.” He has special needs and is struggling. Thank you!
For my girlfriend’s father, Edmund, who is very ill and bedridden (he is over eighty and lost the ability to walk after a fall last year). He has lost his appetite and is unable to move his limbs.
For my Dad who turned 90 on Tuesday. He – along with my Mom – taught and continue to teach me the faith. Dad is in a nursing home and has dementia but is still in good spirits!
My husband is having surgery next week. Please pray that it is successful and without complications.
Please pray for the husband of a cousin in Italy, who is battling leukemia and whose last hope besides a miracle is the efficacy of a drug from the USA.
Please also pray for his wife’s mental and physical health as she is overwhelmed with the situation made worse by the fact of the pandemic and she has not been allowed to see him and he is mostly suffering by himself in a hospital 2 hours away from home.
I pray for all here.
May God be with us all at this time
Prayers of thanksgiving for the safe birth of my first grandchild, a girl.
For the peaceful repose of Jane.
For the inspiration of our bishops to stand against the mad command of infidel tyrants, certain of our governors.
For my daughter. My wife and I were blessed to be able to travel out of state before the shutdowns started happening to be present for her birth, but now are home in California unable to have her baptized. All baptisms (unless emergencies) are cancelled by the Los Angeles Archdiocese, and we can’t even register for baptism instruction classes without a birth certificate which we can’t get as the courts are closed so we are in a limbo waiting to get her adoption finalized.
Ive been very tempted to just do it myself as we have a son who is baptized, are well catechized about original sin, etc… but are trying to follow the Archbishop’s ruling during COVID19.
I am a young widow with no family. Praying for many years that God would bring the right man for me. Please pray that this be the time that God brings the right man for me into my life. Thank you.
For a personal intention, urgent. Thank you very much and I pray for all petitions here.
