    Hmm … I guess if that’s a pepper or otherwise flavoursome sauce, such a heavier wine might do well with it. But I might have preferred that drink with some slightly more intense foodstuffs such as, I dunno, a meat (red or white) with funghi e panna or something similarly rich …

    Or was the first pasta course something of the sort ? Who am I to judge ?
