    [NB: I’ll hold comments with solutions ’till the next day so there won’t be “spoilers” for others.]

    The Champion Chess Tour revs up in Oslo, 17-21 December. My guy Wesley So is competing, as are some of the strongest players in the world.

    …, Bxb2+
    Kxb2, Qd5#

  3. Imrahil says:

    Less than two minutes I guess, and I’m not good at that. Black needs to put white’s king in check, otherwise 2. Bd5+ can always at least postpone mate a little. The only check is

    1. … Bxb2+, then
    2. KxB forced, Qd4++.

    The black bishop on g6 and the squares blocked by white’s own pieces make it possible.

  4. DCLex says:

    1. Bxb2+ KxB
    2. Qd4#
    about 3 minutes.

    It was a Joy growing up with Bugs Bunny. Shared with my Children and Grandchildren. Just had Our first Great Grandchild.
    The Boston Pops some years ago, showed Bugs Bunny Cartoons while they played all the Classical music that went with them.
    It’s true that a lot of Us were exposed to classical from Bugs.
