Here’s one small step for the Jesuits, one giant leap for the Church.
At Infovaticana we read that in Spain, the Jesuits are closing FIVE closures in three months due to the lack of vocations. The closure at Murcia ends almost 500 years of Jesuit presence. The first Jesuits arrived in Murcia in 1555, barely fifteen years after the founding of the Society of Jesus by St. Ignatius of Loyola and still during the lifetime of its founder.
QUAERITUR: Didn’t we just read that the Jesuits in these USA are reducing the number of their novitiates?
