Blogoscopes UP!

Keep your blogoscope raised and scanning the horizon for a release of a statement in support of a derestriction of the so-called "Tridentine" Mass which our good friends over a New Liturgical Movement will be publishing.

Also, stop what you are doing RIGHT NOW and say a prayer for the quick release of the necessary Motu Proprio by the Holy Father.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known
that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.

Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do I come,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.
Amen.

Today is also a First Friday.  Perhaps you might offer your Friday penance for this intention.

    Dear Father Zuhlsdorf,
    I learned the Memorare when I was 7 but the wording was slightly changed from the one you posted.It said before thee I KNEEL sinful and sorrowful.
    Do you know what the difference might mean.
    Thank you for the hopeful news and spiritual encouragement.
    God bless you on your flight back to The Eternal City.
    PS I hate flying.

    Bah! I saw this in my Google Reader and didn’t see the Memorare. I made my own very extemporaneous Prayer just now. :-D

  3. Mike says:

    What are the chances that we get a motu proprio tomorrow, which is a traditional day of gift-giving in many countries? :-)

  4. Sidney says:

    Amen
