Peter’s Pence percentage plus

There was a large increase in 2006 in famous “Peter’s Pence” donations to the Holy See.

This is the collection taken up on or around the feast of Sts. Peter and Paul.

In 2005 Peter’s Pence brought in USA$ 59,441,654.64

In 2006 Peter’s Pence brought in USA$ 101,900,192.71

Let us also not forget that attendance at the Wednesday general audiences has doubled.
