A note on Summorum Pontificum and its interpretation

Hey Fr. Z,  Got news for you…

1. "No organ, no curia in the world is in measure of interpreting the motu proprio Summorum Pontificum.  Only the Commission Ecclesia Dei knows the mens Petri, the mind of the Successor to Peter." 

2. "Summorum Pontificum is for the whole Church!"  Cardinal Hoyos  Friday January 9th, 2009 in the offices of the PCED after the Angelus. 

P.S., It was immediately after the meeting with Card. Hoyos and I heard him say it.  I was VERY edified by his manner and his deference to the Holy Father.
