Prayer request for priests
Would you in your charity please say a prayer for priests who are looking for another diocese?
I have had several requests on these lines lately. It strikes me that you might lend a spiritual hand, especially in that this is the Year for Priests.

Comment by sekman — 23 February 2010 @ 5:15 pmHow does a priest go about changing dioceses?
sekman: This is for prayer, not discussion of law, etc.

Comment by Mike — 23 February 2010 @ 5:59 pmPraying. We have a transitional deacon and a couple of seminarians who are native to our diocese. The challenges are real and worth prayerful consideration.

God’s Will be done.

Comment by ssoldie — 24 February 2010 @ 7:56 pmO Jesus, Eternal Priest, look down with love upon Thy priests. Fill them with burning zeal for the conversion of sinners. Keep them within the shelter of Thy Sacred Heart. Keep unstained their anointed hands which daily touch Thy Sacred Body. Keep unsullied their lips purpled with Thy precious Blood. Keep pure and unearthly their hearts sealed with the sublime marks of Thy glorious Priesthood. Let Thy holy love protect them from the world’s contagion. Bless their labors with abundant fruit, and may the souls to whom they minister on earth be one day their joy and consolation in heaven. Amen.
