NYC BLOGNIC TONIGHT – WEDNESDAY 5:30-7:00 ANNIE MOORE’s

Readers were asking about another NYC-Manhattan Blognic.

Here’s the scoop.

My only possibility is tonight, this evening, Wednesday evening.

Anyone interested could meet at Annie Moore‘s between 5:30-7:00.

Since this comes a little late, sorry, you might also take a moment to reach out by phone or e-mail to people you know in the area and just let them know.

Google map.

Annie Moore’s is close to the western flank of Grand Central Terminal at 43rd between Park and Madison.

I am not reserving any space but there is lots of room at this pub.  The food is very reasonable.

Blognics are entirely informal. There is no agenda other than to have a good time and chat and meet people.

Everyone is responsible for his or her nibbles or beverages, unless of course you are feeling generous.

There is a room downstairs which perhaps they will let us use if we have a sizable crowd and if people are eating.  Otherwise, we can simply park in the ample area inside the entrance near the bar.

We’ll be flexible.

Here is a new poll just to get some idea of who may be interested.

Spread the word.

Otherwise, I will be at a Solemn Pontifical Mass at the Church of St. Jean-Baptiste at 7 pm on Friday evening.  There is a conference at Our Savior and Mass at Holy Innocents on Saturday where I will be one of the speakers, God and viruses willing, and also celebrant for a Missa cantata in the Extraordinary Form.

If you go to Annie Moore’s, the lecture should be very good. He used to do a series on St Thomas Aquinas that was absolutely fabulous.

Every time that there is talk of a blognic, there is mention of Fall River, MA/Tiverton, RI, so this is the official request for a blognic in Fall River/Tiverton this time around. See you next blognic organization post.

Father Z, come to Upstate New York! There’s more to New York than just ‘The City’!

  9. NYC BLOGNIC TONIGHT! Come one come all!

  10. It was a very nice blognic, to be sure. A small group, which was understandable given the nasty weather and the late announcement. But we had a good time! It is great to meet people and help make some connections between them as well.

    Thanks!

Sorry I was not able to make it to the blognic. My flight was delayed, and I didn’t get out of LaGuardia until after 7 p.m. By the time I got to Annie Moore’s, you were long gone.
