I feel dreadful from this cold. But this was cool enough to clear my head for a few seconds.
A great video of the Transit of Venus.

There are lots of other great videos of the Transit out there now. Take a look at that rare event.
Also cool: Cassini is going to try to observe a transit of Venus from Saturn.
Thank you, Father. Have been looking for one like that all day.
Was interested to see the Sun’s surface seething behind the third run.
Heal, Sir Priest!
I apologize that this is off-topic, but NASA just got two free space telescopes. http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/80beats/2012/06/05/nasa-gets-a-hand-me-down-from-spy-agency-two-space-telescopes/
Thanks! It was cloudy in my neck of the woods and I was unable to vie it in “real time”.
What a cool video!
Venus looked like a bowling ball as it passed in front of the sun!
‘The heavens are telling the glory of God’ (to quote Haydn’s ‘Creation’)
Sic transit gloria Veni.
The Sun…is huge…
Great video!
Thanks so much, Father. Great video.
Hope you feel better soon.
Neat video. Thanks.
We here in College Station are in the middle of a double coincidence. Not only did we heave the Venus fly-by, but the ISS is flying visible 13 times during this week alone!
Sic transit gloria Veni.
Try, “Sic transit gloria Veneris.”
Regardless, wonderful video, Pater reverende!
