VIDEO: Iowa Democrats Praying For Abortion Care

The other day a member of the Iowa Democrat Party (aka The Party of Death or TPOD hereafter) said that having a colicky baby (a baby that cries a lot) is a justification for abortion.

Now I see this, also from Iowa and TPOD.

From GatewayPundit:

At least they weren’t praising Satan.
Iowa Democrats were caught on tape this week praying for abortions.
So gross.

Iowa Democrat gubernatorial candidates Jack Hatch and Tyler Olson joined 50 pro-abortion activists in an extended prayer for abortion rights during a rally at the State Capitol on Wednesday.

“We give thanks, oh Lord, for the doctors, both current and future, who provide quality abortion care.”

“We pray for increased financial support for low-income women to access contraception, abortion and childcare.”

“Today, we pray for women in developing nations, that they may know the power of self-determination. May they have access to employment, education, birth control and abortion.”

“Today we pray for the families who have chosen. May they know the blessing of choice.”

I think my readers in Iowa have some work to do.  First and foremost, acts of reparation for this blasphemy.  Second, remember that all politics are local.

They offered these “prayers” to the lord of the dance?

This is off-the-chart sick. It’s also incoherent: “We pray for increased financial support for low-income women to access contraception, abortion and childcare.” Huh? If you’ve contracepted against a baby, and then aborted the few “accidents”, how on earth do you need child care?

I thought this must be a joke….a sick joke.
“At least they weren’t praising Satan.”
But surely they were, in praying for abortion, which is a sacrifice to the devil?

Now this is IT, today. This is the LAST STRAW. Reparation for this blasphemy? It’s time to GET ANGRY ABOUT THIS. After all, even the Old Testament God said, Ezekiel 25:17. “The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.” Please, Lord, now. Sorry folks, but this is IT.

First these people are all against prayer in the public forum, then they pull this stunt. These people are just getting away with any and every excuse to prop up their agenda – even using the most irrational pronouncements. Shaking their fist at God and taunting Him is all they are doing. They better hope He isn’t listening. Instead of asking God to bless pregnant women and help them with His grace their prayer for blessings on abortions and the demand to spread it worldwide, just shows that they are obviously less interested in faith than they are in their own political agenda.

  6. ‘We give thanks to you, Lord Molech, for your servants who provide us murder of our progeny. May it be to you a sweet-smelling sacrifice.’

This is the same party that booed God at their national convention, no? Small wonder there are so many of us ex-democrats . . .

I wonder who they were praying to.

It’s in the same vein as the attacks in Europe, only with the pretense of respectability. It’s a sort of bullying gesture by secularists at any rate.

Offering Rosaries and Communions in reparation for the wickedness in Iowa — and not least as well for all the times when my faithlessness and silence has enabled it.

Eagleton (sort of) said they were becoming the party of ” Abortion, Acid, and Amnesty”- few things have changed. Actually Eagleton said marijuana not acid, but the wordsmith (Novak) changed it to rhyme better. Maybe they could update it to “infanticide, income redistribution & international impotence”.
