Vacation having come to an end, it’s time to hit the long and dusty. Paris is worth, among other things, another visit.

    Thanks for the memories, Father! I don’t think that quotation is quite accurate, but, indeed, Paris is worth another visit and you have inspired me to do it after 13 years of hanging about in other places, like Rome.

    I’m with Mike: there’s a lot of unpleasant rigamarole in flying, but being able to get just about anywhere in the world within 24 hours at an attainable price is truly amazing.
