I’m going to go with fake. The image seems like something out of a mid-50’s B movie.
For instance, how can the lighting be that good in a cave, it would require major lumination.
Ken, if you had followed the links Fr. Z provided, you would have seen that it’s all legitimate and has been reported in Geology and National Geographic. The photos aren’t fake, and yes, they would have had to have brought in some pretty powerful lights.
Kinda makes the experience I had seeing the “fried eggs” at Luray Caverns as a child seem far less impressive!
