Where are you?

Here is a snapshot of the last few minutes.

My blog stats can tell where people are (more of less) when they come to visit.   I understand that 85% of the time the stats will show where people are within about 25 miles.  Therefore, you might be here in the list, but via some nearby town.  Sometime, however, I get an indication like "Canada", which isn’t all that specific if you think about it.

It is exciting to think of how people from so many places in the world come here to read and comment.  That never ceases to impress me.

Father Z: I understand that 85% of the time the stats will show where people are within about 25 miles.

I personally doubt that this is true. But if it is, just call me a “fifteen-percenter”. Because I’m connected with WDTPRS several hours a day — as are a number of others I know, some of whom first learned about WDTPRS from me — but have never, ever seen our city nor any within 50 miles of us in your listings.

Actually, I suspect that a number of local internet service providers connect through central portals like Atlanta (for my part of the country) where we are “counted”.

  2. DebSTS says:

I am writing from Steubenville, Ohio. I am happy to say we had a Traditional Latin Mass yesterday
at St. Peter’s Church. The church was packed! The Mass was absolutely beautiful! My husband, who
served in Latin Masses when he was a little boy, was overjoyed that finally, after so many years,
the TLM has returned. Thank you, Holy Father!
