I trust your designs, but please in the spirit of B16 maintain a hermeneutic of continuity.

  2. little gal says:

Very Nice Layout. The muted blue background provides great contrast and is easy on the eyes. This layout is clean and less busy, which IMO is inviting to the reader.

  3. PG says:

My choir director likes to say “freak thee not” when we sight read a challenging piece of music. :)

  4. GCC Catholic says:

I like the fact that the black page background separates the muted blue blocks of text for each post. This helps posts to not run together.

  5. robert says:

    Really nice layout

  6. Quaesumus says:

This looks great Fr. Z. Way to go.

  7. FatherAJ says:

Ugh. I trust the former theme was not abrogated so we can return to it soon.

  8. Jake says:

The changes had been advertised a while ago. We were all warned.

That being said, the transitions are very helpful. Maybe this will help when browsing via a mobile platform, perhaps?

Keep up the good work, Fr.

  9. I like the theme you have up at 1:00 pm Central Standard Time Dec 13, 2008.

  10. When I changed themes I lost my stats. I wonder how it would affect iTunes and the PODCAzTs.

  11. Clare says:

arghhhhhh, my eyes!!!!! Wait, is that freaking out? Actually, I liked it.

  12. Mitch says:

that is like telling a little kid not to touch the hot stove…

  13. Jane says:

I like this theme. As a TV advertisement in my country (Australia) says: When you’re on a good thing, stick to it.

  14. mcitl says:

    Hello Fr Z.,

A question: what happened to that photo you posted back in, I think 2007 was the date, of Papa Benedetto in rosacea vestments. Can’t find it there…

  15. Nicknackpaddywack says:

I can’t tell whether we’ve had two new formats today or you’ve just reverted for the time being to the older format, it seemed like it looked different when I checked this morning from how it looks now. In any case, they all look fine to me! In that case, perhaps a change is best – for freshness.

  16. pelerin says:

Has anyone else noticed that the pom pom from Fr Z’s biretta has migrated up a line and has turned his name into Zuhlsdorfo?!
