Cool! I enjoy your tweets.
My vote has been cast.

I’m looking forward to June 20th.
I follow you as well.
But why do you only follow 38 folks, Father? (I can see not following all 1428 of your followers, but still…)
@markonmalley: It is simply for the sake of keeping my twitter thing, Twitter Fox, and my iPhone Twitter app, fairly uncluttered. I already get around 500 e-mails a day. I just can’t do it all.
Thanks Father, I followed you on my RP account @_The_Shadow which I’m using most often lately.
I would ask/advise that if you haven’t already, check your settings and see that you get all @replies rather than just those from people you follow. This will allow you to see anything directed at you without having to follow a bunch of people.

I understand. I think Melody\’s suggestion, check your settings and see that you get all @replies is almost good. What I would suggest is to try out Tweetdeck: http://tweetdeck.com/beta/ — you can keep your eye on 4-5 timelines at one time (for example, I have my timeline for all my friends, a timeline for @replies, one for #tcot, one for #catholic, and one slot free for miscellaneous searches.
FWIW / YMMV.
There is also tweetcatholic.com that lists many Catholics who twitter and our faithful to the Pope.
I think we could benefit from a thread/workshop on Twitter.
I would love a tutorial / thread on twitter. I have signed up and I follow some, including dear Fr. Z. But for the life of me, I’m not sure the why of this new toy or really the how. I would love the help.
