Looks good. What do they do with the old Paschal candles?

  2. Daniel Latinus says:

At the traditionalist chapel I used to attend, they used to burn it as a votive light to our Lady.

Of course, in the Ordinary Form, after Paschaltide the Paschal Candle is placed by the baptismal font and at the head of the coffin at funerals.

I suppose it would be permissible to melt old paschal candles to make new candles.

I see. I didn’t think there’d be a stock pile of old partially burned Paschal candles from the previous years.
