At first, I thought this was a photoshop from The Onion. But, no.
*GAG*.
That is just SO wrong on SO MANY levels, it isn’t even satirical.
Oh my goodness. Messianism loud and clear. The cult of the person caused the weird reactions in North Korea when the leader died. It is the same impetus. It is CREEPY. Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mussolini, Mao, how many examples of cult leadership do we need to realize how evil this is….? As soon as Gramsci died in 1937, we was made into a cult hero. There is a line of such hero-worship in communism, in Italy, Russia, China, North Korea, and still is. This is also seen in some Middle Eastern nations. The ideal of one man coming to solve all the problems is not democracy. Now, I am worried that we shall see some “miracle” from POTUS to convince all of his hidden divinity. He can play the victim card or the hero card at will
Scary and all been done before. Do we not learn from history?
From the responses:
“Do you know the difference between Obama and God? God doesn’t think He’s Obama.”
Just think how many Catholics think that is great!
I hope the Bishops that don`t vote for him ,wake from their slumber, and start teaching the Holy Catholic Faith in it`s entirety again.
If this is for real, it only underlines and gives strong argument to what I have suspected regarding Obama for a long time. God have mercy on them all.
There is no evidence that this was officially sanctioned in any way by the President, his staff or the campaign.
Another straw man.
Straw or No
Any Catholic that votes for this man, is in a very dark place.
I have come to the conclusion that it is simple impossible to be an authentic Christian and a member of the Democratic party. When given the choice between Our Lord and Barabbas, these people have chosen Barabbas. God help us if he is “re-elected”. If this is an honest election, or as close as possible, Romney/Ryan will win, but I put NOTHING pass Obama, the machine behind him and the palace guard media that protects him and lies for him. Our Lady of America, pray for us!
This doesn’t need to be sanctioned by Obama or his campaign; there have been enough official “halo” photographs of Obama to support the contention that Obama’s followers consider him to be a messianic figure. Obama is complicit in all of this messianism (he poses for the photos and presumably okays them), so he can stand guilty as charged.
As Supertradmum said, this kind of hero worship is creepy. Its bad enough that the followers are doing it; it’s worse that Obama permits it instead of stopping it.
1/20/13 God willing an end of an error! From my lips to God’s ears.
“1/20/13 God willing an end of an error!”
I agree!
The video on the Blaze of a man advertising these calendars says it all.
Obama voters are beginning to look like a cult.
Typo – meant to say SIMPLY impossible…..
The cult of personality on full shameless display. 50% or better of Catholics quake at his mention. Ya wonder if Cardinal Dolan will ask for his autograph at the Smith Dinner. ; )
There is a void on the demoncrat side, and it’s being filled by 0.
On Friday, August 4, 1961, the day of Mr. Obama’s birth, the Yankees beat the Minnesota Twins, 8-5 at Yankee Stadium. It was, apparently, a ne fas day.
It was the Twins first season in Minnesota, having been the Washington Senators the year before. The Twins manager that year, Cookie Lavagetto, had played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and, in 1947, ruined Bill Bevens’ (Yankees) no-hitter in game 4 of the World Series.
Cookie Lavagetto’s son is a Dominican priest and pastor of St. Dominic’s parish in San Francisco. I had the privilege of being Fr. Xavier’s secretary for a number of years.
“There is a void on the demoncrat side, and it’s being filled by 0.”
Close. I would say that there is a void on the demoncrat side, and it IS o.
Void = O
Simple.
