Best commercial ever. Anyone who disagrees in un-American! :-)
Yes, it is a very entertaining advert, but being totally unAmerican, I haven’t a clue what the cartoon is all about. And the game God loves most is cricket because the scoring system is unfathomable for ordinary mortals and it goes on for eternity.
Robbie, even if the car is German? (P.S. I love that commercial, too. I had a little Luke Skywalker back in the 1970s and all things Star Wars remind me of small boys.)
That is a great commercial. I had some little Star Wars kids back then, too. My new favorite commercial is the ‘Hump-Day’ camel. I laugh everytime.
Agreed: Best. Commercial. Ever!
Only Nazi’s would disagree that this is the best commercial ever! I’m kidding, but it is so good! I love, love, the body language of that kid. Every movement says something. It reminded me too of my own little Darth Vaders, my son originally, more recently my nephew’s boys. I bought the most fantastic outfit just like that little boy’s and the mask even had the Darth Vader “breath” sounds. A video shows my great-nephew in it and I flipped up the mask to reveal the cutest face and most adorable smile you could ever imagine. Heaven.
That camel commercial is good too by the way!
Love that commercial!! Even having seen it a number of times, it cracked me up. The child’s expression comes through without ever seeing his face, priceless. Thanks, Father, I really needed a laugh about now.
Great commercial; it never gets old.
Baseball is “the game God loves most”? Never! Football (soccer) all the way! It is very much a universal (i.e. “catholic”) sport! ;-)
It is the best ever!
My favorite of all time, too. I remember showing it to my wife (we have 4 boys) and she laughed and said, “That poor mother”. Heh heh.
That is the best commercial ever made.
Of course God loves baseball most.
He starts the Bible, ” In the big inning”
It was a beautiful evening for baseball in Southeast Indiana. My boys won the first game of their tourney 7-4. We came home and watched Field of Dreams starring who other than Darth Vader himself.
Speaking of good car commercials, ever see the one for tires where a guy brakes just in time not to hit a beaver that was waddling across the road right in front of a bridge, and a year later he’s about to cross that bridge during a thunderstorm when a tree falls right in front of him and he once again stops just in time… only then he sees the bridge floating away downstream in a flood, and the beaver he missed before is at the stump of the tree and gestures at him like they’re buddies and he’s got the guy’s back. For a commercial for tires, of all things, it was pretty hilarious.
My personal two favorite commercials are the Batman Snickers commercial aired during the Superbowl a few years or so back and the Nike commercial with the young parkourist running from the chicken.
Yeah, I have a weird sense of humour.
Love the commercial.
And as Deacon Doug McManaman explains so well, “The Lord loves a good game.”
Not to be pedantic, but car in spanish is a masculine word (obviously!) so it is “el coche” not “la coche”. Very good commercial. [Thanks.]
