LONDON DAY 1: “Blognic”? After the 6:30 Mass?

Several people have written about meeting up with me while I am in London (which is only for a few days).

I don’t know if people regularly go to The Coal Hole after the 6:30 PM Mass at Corpus Christi on Maiden Lane (Covent Garden), but that could be our best shot.

Addendum : someone sent:

I just wanted to let you know the Coal Hole seems to be closed. They have a barrier all around it so possibly being renovated.

THE HARP! on Chandos!

I spent some time this morning communing with on panel of Paolo Uccello’s Battle of San Romano at The National Gallery.

Then we met people from the Latin Mass Society for lunch at Rules.

Okay… I’m worn out.  I hope some people got some photos, cause I have to turn in.

  1. Tony Phillips says:

I usually regularly go to the Firkin Frog (Herne Bay), the Tankerton Arms or the Black Dog (Whitstable), the Hair of the Dog (Minster), the Conqueror (Ramsgate) or the Harbour Arms (Margate). I suggest everybody head down there. If I’m not in one, move on to the next.

  2. Per Signum Crucis says:

It’s frustrating that you are a mere hundred miles away as I write but that’s life. Enjoy your blighty stopover but perhaps a bit more notice next time!

  3. gervase crouchback says:

I know that if ever you came to Australia and especially God’s own state of Victoria, the generous souls at Fr Tattersalls parish -newman Parish -and those of FR Dillon’s ( the organist at the Mass Cardinal Burke celebrated at) would welcome you and look after you,not to mention the Wangaratta Latin Mass society ,if you ventured 160 miles NE of Melbourne.
