Bravo! Lutheran Satire is outrageously funny, and dead on most of the time. Their Catholic stuff is painful, like Frank the Hippy Pope but often too true (with a Lutheran twist), and their Gilbert and Sullivan Mass could be talking about the state of the liturgy in the Catholic Church.

Very interesting to watch as it seems that orthodoxy is on the rise in the Lutherans as it is in our Church. It also explains why Lutheran converts make such good Catholics. Time for Lutheranorum coetibus, based on those I’ve met. Anyway good stuff.

    Funny satire!
As for Sid Roth…I have heard him for years. He is a Messianic Charismatic Jew. He believes in Jesus as a Protestant. He is for real. He’s [like] a Pentecostal. He may be a deeper believer than some Catholics!

To be specific, the satirist as I understand it, is a Missouri-synod Lutheran, which has always been more conservative. The main body, the ELCA (which I converted from) has been going progressive for years, but only slightly slower than the Episcopals and Presbyterians. In all those cases it seems to be examples of the Left getting an increasing share in a demographically-collapsing market.
