This is an interior shot of St Trinita dei Pellegrini. Entering the church you will see this painting of Our Lady and the Christ Child on the right side half way down the nave. I’ve burned many a votive candle here. The image of the Sacred Heart is across the nave with its votives. This beautiful 500 year old church was given to the care of the Priests of St Peter and they use only the 1962 missal for all their Masses and sacraments. The schola provides outstanding music every Sunday but not during July or August when they are on vacation. The church had been in a shabby state until the pope gave the church over to this community about 15 years or so ago. They’ve done a remarkable job in restoring much. FrZ has been a benefactor as you can see from the pew and he and ZHeads helped in large measure to obtain the beautiful new baptismal font. The church needs benefactors with gifts large and small to continue the restoration. This is a good choice for giving. The church has a website and donation information. The spiritual gifts you receive in return outweigh any gift given. So, please think of helping.
If you’re in Rome visit this church and attend Mass or Benediction. The beautiful main altar painting depicts the Trinity. Stroll the surrounding neighborhood. Be blessed, uplifted and moved by the liturgies here. Celebrated as they should be.

    Is that your pew, Father?
