The Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS) is having her annual Day of Giving today.

This year, the focus will be on raising much-needed funds to support the mission and ministry of the AMS.  Your generosity supports programs such as Young Adult Ministry, vocations and the Co-Sponsored Seminarian Program, catechetical training and certification, lay-leader development, and a robust AMS Religion Curriculum Guide (grades Pre-K – 12th) to name a few.

Your gifts, regardless of size make an enormous impact on the pastoral care of service members and their families!

Did you know?

An anonymous donor has issued a matching gift challenge. The first $30,000 of gifts received will be matched dollar for dollar!

Visit givingday.milarch.org/ to make a gift and a prayer today!

I gave. (Helpfully, there is a box that allows you to say why you are giving.)

My father was (then) a fighter pilot. I received my first sacrament (baptism), courtesy of these fine men. Done!

Done! My father was a medic in the Pacific theater in WWII who converted to Catholicism just before deploying. My husband’s father, a lifelong Catholic, was an aeronautical engineer at Lockheed during WWII. In their honor we support this worthy cause.

Gladly done. As a retired Lt Col, USAF, who served at AirSouth in Naples, Italy from 2001 – 2004, the chaplains at Capo and Gricignano were critical to our faith life and our family morale. My very first Easter Vigil (even though a life long Catholic) came when I was confirmed in 2003 at the NSA Gricignano in our beautiful new church.

I’ve supported the Archdiocese for a while now and will always continue to do so.

    Aim High!

There are many worthy apostolates which we can support, but thank you, Father Z, for posting this. Our family has been served by the AMS since my husband I received the Sacrament of Matrimony, and two of our children are now in the military, with the AMS providing for their Catholic Chaplains and Sacraments. I can assure those reading this, that your support is greatly needed and will be gratefully received by faithful, mostly young, Catholics in the military.
