    According to Pew surveys, fewer Catholics recognize Church teaching on the Eucharist than on abortion.

    In other words, the data matches the satire.

    I thought Lutherans did NOT believe in a purely symbolic Eucharist. It was a major point of contention between Luther and Zwingli.

    Luther and Zwingli
    Should always be treated singly.
    Luther hated the peasants,
    Zwingli the Real Presence.
