Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their … Traditional Latin Masses.
I received this plea from a reader…
I was hoping you could assist our parish by getting the word out, who is doing some major restoration ( our 100yr old ceiling was coming down)
“Please pass on this go fund me link to anyone you think might be willing to financially assist a small traditional Catholic country parish with a major restoration.
Thanks!”https://www.gofundme.com/f/s-f
rancis-de-sales-church-restora tion Fr. Cusick is a great priest and shepherd.
Many hand make light work, friends. Even small donations, if made by many, can make a difference to these people. I remember back in 2013 I posted about Fr. Cusick gathering pledges to help the Archdiocese for the Military Services by running in a marathon. You stepped up and his pledges went through the ceiling. HERE
Let’s help with this other ceiling.
Even small, if from many. Give up a coffee or a Big Mac, as you would, being a good Custos traditionis (a daily Memorare and a weekly penance for the softening of the hearts of those who interpret Traditionis custodes). Almsgiving.

Thank you for sharing something we can happily help with.
Several years ago, I had the privilege of being the MC for the Corpus Christi Mass and Procession for this little parish. The sight of the Blessed Sacrament in procession was quite the sight for this hamlet of less than three hundred people, culminating in Benediction by the shores of the Patuxent River. (If I could attach a photo here, I would.) Father Cusick is a good man and a great priest, and this little piece of heaven deserves to be saved.
Unfortunately, I think Cardinal Gregory will put an end to the TLM there soon.
@JohnMa, I believe he will try. And I believe he will fail.
Sent them a few shingles for the roof
Father Z.
Done. God bless and prosper them. How I should love to be in such a parish. Oy…
It is a wonderful place. Happy to help.
If the good Father will permit, a photo from the Corpus Christi procession in Benedict, Maryland, in 2017, can be found here.
