Daily Rome Shot 467, etc.

In May I will be with a prolife pilgrimage group in Italy.  I would like to stay longer after it is concluded (since I’ll already be there).  So, I have my tin cup out in the form of the wavy flag.  Click! (Full disclosure: I may have to go again in October.)

Quite unexpectedly I got to visit Italy 9 years ago. We arrived in Rome the day Pope Benedict resigned. We were quite accidentally at the Holy Father’s Ash Wednesday Mass a couple days later. And we got a seat! God is good!

I never tire of reading about Italy and keep collecting travel books and cookbooks. Perhaps I’ll be blessed with another trip someday.
