Your Sunday Sermon Notes: 4th Sunday of Advent – 2022

Too many people today are without good, strong preaching, to the detriment of all. Share the good stuff.

Was there a GOOD point made in the sermon you heard at your Mass of obligation for the 4th Sunday of Advent – 2022?

Tell about attendance especially for the Traditional Latin Mass.  I hear that it is growing.  Of COURSE.

Any local changes or (hopefully good) news?

I have a few thoughts about the Epistle:

Yes, by worldly standards St. John the Baptist was a failure, but his only obligation was to be faithful to God, which he was. This is our obligation as well.

Sorry, I forgot, there were quite a few more people at our TLM than a few weeks ago. It appears to be growing.

Vetus Ordo 8:00 am Low Mass at our FSSP parish. Packed – lots of young families and children as usual.

Sermon on the need for penance and the repetition of this message from the OT prophets to today, including Fatima, etc. No point in arguing about ‘this or that’ political party – the path to God and true change in the world is through penance.

A great sermon from our priest who is consistently on target.
