YOUR URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

PLEASE use the sharing buttons! Thanks!

This time of year, close to Christmas, is a time of joy. Not everyone, however, has joyful news.  Some experience serious challenges.

In your charity would you please take a moment look at the requests and to pray for the people about whom you read?

Continued from THESE.

Let’s remember all who are ill, who will die soon, who have died recently, who have lost their jobs, who are afraid.

I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Some are heart-achingly grave and urgent.

As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below.

You have to be registered here to be able to post.

In your kindness continue prayers for my mother, who has been diagnosed with something grave and incurable.

Also, I received this this morning….

My wife has been a donor of yours for awhile and we have both read your blog. She passed away last week from leukemia. We found out she was sick and three days later she was dead. She received the last rights and the Apostolic Pardon from [a priest] of the SSPX who also said her requiem high Mass. I simply ask your prayers for my family. I am now the single father of 6, ages 18, 17, 13 (she has a severe form of trisomy x), 9, 8 (he has autism) and 5. I also have Asperger’s which was greatly alleviated by the company and assistance of my wife. I am begging God’s mercy and grace to have the strength to raise my children well and to accept God’s Holy will. My wife’s name is Andrea and we reside in ___. Thank you Father for your prayers.

How my heart aches for these good people.  Please stop and say a decade of the Rosary for this family.

I beg prayers for our family (husband, children and grandchildren). One adult child has been in a dark place and truly needs God’s mercy; another adult child doesn’t realize he needs God’s mercy. There are many parents whose children have been wounded by others in this world. It’s a helpless feeling for a parent.

May the Lord bless you, Father and your Mother also. Prayers for the poor father who wrote about his wife’s passing.

Please pray for our friend’s daughter, Maria. She is a happy young 2 year old who had a terrible accident with a tea kettle yesterday and is in the hospital with severe 2nd degree burns over much of the left side of her body.

The crosses people bear. Prayers indeed.

Please pray for C., as well as for me and for his family. We were in love with each other and beginning to talk about marriage, and then he took his own life last week. He struggled with his mental health, but it really caught me by surprise, and I feel sucker-punched. There were a lot of blessings that I received through him, and I am grateful for the time we had, but I’m heartbroken.

My children and I offered our Rosary tonight for the widowed father of six and for the repose of the soul of his wife. As a widowed father myself in a similar position for the past 3 years (7 kids, although my set skews younger), it is an impossible job, but God will grant you unbelievable graces to do what would otherwise seem impossible. Not everything will be perfect, but keep moving forward, keep trying your best, keep praying, and you will find things will be better than you could have possibly imagined. DO NOT GIVE UP! You CAN do this. He WILL help you. All of you.

Please pray for complete healing of my hip and pelvis…..I am the mother of 11 children and the last birth caused serious damage. I am hardly able to walk now.

Our family lost a one year old this year, after a fall down stairs. Please pray that the young mother and father turn to God in their sorrow.
    Prayers for all here.

  8. Padre Pio Devotee says:

Intentions of and reparation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the Chaste Heart of Good St. Joseph.

Restoration of the Holy Mother the Church, and for all bishops, priests, religious, seminarians and novices. And for an increase in vocations.

Restoration and conversion of our country, her leaders, and her peoples. For an end to all legalized sin.

For the release of the Holy Souls in Purgatory, especially the most abandoned and forgotten, and those furthest from Heaven.

Conversion of sinners and the enemies of God (and the crushing of their plans).

For the repose of the souls of M.E., B.S., and those who perished in the wildfires of Maui. For healing, peace, and charity to abound in Maui and for the temporal and spiritual needs of the people there.

The least, the lonely, and the last. And those whom are on the brink of despair, suicide, or contemplating abortion. Those who have no one to pray for them. All the intentions listed here and the intentions of all the readership.

And those for whom I pray for daily and for my 54 Day Rosary novena petitions.
Deo Gratias! Mary thank you! St. Joseph thank you!

Hi Father and everyone on this post. My heart breaks for all of you and your incredibly difficult situations! It’s hard to even fathom what you are suffering. I prayed for you at the celestial midnight mass that I attended, over 100 candles (yes, I counted because of was so blown away by the beauty of them!) and I offered my Holy Communion for all of your intentions. (Fr. Z’s mom and all of these hardships.) Hang in there. God bless and keep you all. Liz

  10. VForr says:

For baby Abby P., who is battling a severe case of RSV.
