19 FEB ’24: UPDATE –
Right now this BREVIARY project is ON HOLD until we catch up and then recheck how many are left. DO NOT SEND INQUIRIES until I am sure what’s going on.
I still have some beautiful 3 volume Latin/English sets of the traditional “Roman Breviary” by Baronius Press. They have to go quickly. They are unopened. More HERE
I purchased the 3 volume Latin/English breviary in December for myself and for my Benedictine priest nephew. After praying the breviary I received in 1988 for 36 years, I can say that the traditional breviary that I now pray daily has deepened my relationship with Jesus immensely. I recommend it. — Fr. As an aside, FrZ,
Many of us who have been deprived of the privilege to attend the TLM might benefit from more of your posts on this other major tier of liturgical tradition: the Divine Office. It may be the only traditional liturgical experience we can hold onto since we can pray it on our own (unlike hearing Mass which requires a priest).
I, for one, would love to hear your thoughts on whether the 1962BR still fulfills a priest’s obligation to say the Office.
