I was sent more, different, coffee by the Papist Coffee guys.  This time their Pius V.  It is a darker roast than the last batch, which was welcome.  However, I still got the same taste notes as the last batch.  Here’s the different in the roast:

Anyone care to expound/translate the Rome Shot photo?
It appears to be the “authentic” describing the enclosed relics in a particular altar?
Most fascinating. Most authentics are sealed inside the capsa with the relics at the time of consecration by the bishop. This is obviously not your typical altar given the extravagance of a carved stone. Perhaps it houses the body?
    Anyone?
    Fr. Zed?

What a very odd order those relics are listed in, with Our Blessed Lord and Our Lady relegated half-way down the list after the three holy Virgins!

  3. Josephus Muris Saliensis says:

    Jack007 –
IN THIS ALTAR ARE THE BODIES OF THE HOLY VIRGINS CONSTANTIA, ATTICA AND ARTEMIA
SOME OF THE HAIR OF THE GLORIOUS VIRGIN MARY
A SMALL PIECE OF THE CLOTHING OF CHRIST
RELICS OF SAINTS SATURNINUS AND SISINIUS

Jack007: the picture is of the Altar in Santa Costanza, well worth visiting should you be in Rome:

This is a close-up showing the inscription:

The only information I could find showing her with Attica and Artemia was from a Wiki page in Catalan but the translation is below:

    https://ca.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Const%C3%A0ncia

“Constance had had two daughters from her first marriage, Attica and Artemia, who were educated in Christianity. They lived as virgins and built the first basilica of Sant’Agnese fuori le mura in Rome, living to death in a house next to the church.

The relics of Constance and her two daughters were moved by Pope Alexander IV to a new altar in the mausoleum, which has become the Basilica of St. Constance. They were included in the sixteenth century in martyrology, as saints. Later, due to the falsity of tradition and the lack of exemplary life of authentic Constance, they were removed from the santoral”.

Forgot to add – The Roman Sacristan has the info on Saints Saturninus and Sisinius:
