YOUR URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

PLEASE use the sharing buttons! Thanks!

In your charity would you please take a moment look at the requests and to pray for the people about whom you read?

Continued from THESE.

Let’s remember all who are ill, who will die soon, who have died recently, who have lost their jobs, who are afraid.

I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Some are heart-achingly grave and urgent.

As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below.

You have to be registered here to be able to post.

In your kindness continue prayers for my mother, who has been diagnosed with something grave and incurable.   Please pray for me.  Lot’s of decisions coming.

Also, I heard that Fr. John Hunwicke of the marvelous blog Mutual Enrichment (sophisticated and amusing) is not doing well.  In your kindness, please stop and say a prayer for him as well.

    Prayers for you.

Please pray for me. I’m trying to cast my cares to the Lord but he doesn’t seem to be doing anything helpful. I’ve been asking for one specific issue to be resolved. Nothing’s been resolved and it’s something that could help my life be more manageable.

  2. Padre Pio Devotee says:

Intentions of and reparation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and His Holy Face, the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the Chaste Heart of Good St. Joseph.

Restoration of the Holy Mother the Church, and for all bishops, priests, religious, seminarians and novices (living and deceased). And for an increase in vocations.

Restoration and conversion of our country, her leaders, and her peoples. For an end to all legalized sin.

For the release of the Holy Souls in Purgatory, especially the most abandoned and forgotten, and those furthest from Heaven.

Conversion of sinners and the enemies of God (and the crushing of their plans).

For the repose of the souls of M.E., B.S., J.D., and those who perished in the wildfires of Maui. For healing, peace, and charity to abound in Maui and for the temporal and spiritual needs of the people there.

The least, the lonely, and the last. And those whom are on the brink of despair, suicide, or contemplating abortion. Those who have no one to pray for them. All the intentions listed here and the intentions of all the readership.

For M.O., his conversion, eternal salvation, and healing of his progressing cancer. He is only in his early 30’s. For A.B. and her situation.

And those for whom I pray for daily and for my 54 Day Rosary novena petitions and other various novena petitions.
Deo Gratias! Mary thank you! St. Joseph thank you! Guardian Angels thank you! All ye Holy Angels and Saints thank you!

Our prayers for Your Mother and for You. My Mother died 36 years ago and I still miss her everyday.
Please pray for my 19 year old grandson. He had a car accident, broke his leg and arm. Young and healthy, Please pray that this makes him more devout.

I was worried about Fr Hunwicke as he hasn’t posted on his blog for three days now. Please pray that my children may return to the Faith. Please pray for my brother in law who is having a hard time caring for my sister with dementia.
Fr Z and everyone you are in my prayers daily

  5. VForr says:

For the reversion of my fallen away family members and the conversion of the other members.
For the repose of the soul of J.C.S.
For the miraculous healing of A.A.

  6. WillP says:

Re. the great (not an epithet I use overly freely) Fr Hunwicke: yes, I’m concerned that he has now not posted for several days, which is quite unlike him. More telling – given that he writes most of his pieces in advance and sets them to pop up on set dates and times – he has not enabled any comments since April 8. Please pray for him.

  7. AQ says:

    Praying for all of you.

  8. Charivari Rob says:

Please pray the repose of the soul of a good priest and (I think) distantly-connected relative, Father James Brady. 50+ years mission work in Africa (since retired).
Passed away last week and funeral today.

  9. JustaSinner says:

For the most Forgotten Soul in Purgatory.

  10. An Old Historian says:

AML LEUKEMIA – RARE BUT MOST AGGRESSIVE AND DEADLY.
AML can present full blown from one day to the next. It is very deadly in geriatric patients. Death is usually very painful and may occur in just hours or days of presentation. It is an insidious killer. Five-year survival rate for those over 60 is just under 30% with some studies dipping below 16%.
It could be likened in our mortal pain to Christ’s painful death on His Cross except that He accepted the pain of all mankind!
I was diagnosed with AML on April 18, 2024 and was bird-dogged daily by my family and health care team with dire warnings to get to a specific ER. I entered the cancer center on 4/24 and barely survived the first hours. I’m still alive – just barely – and dangerously compromised by the other killers AML likes to bring along. I’m a sinner pushing into my late 70s and must face my fate, but in your charity please pray to St. Michael to protect my wife of 53+ years from the evil mortal and ethereal dregs of our world! And pray for Fr. Z’s mom and all moms. Holy Mother Church needs protective prayer too! Thank you!!

  11. FRLBJ says:

Also, pray for James Likoudis who is gradually failing, too.

  12. SursumCorda17 says:

I’ve been away from the blog for a couple weeks and was just thinking earlier today, “I wonder if Fr. Z has a prayer request post active?”

Please know of my prayers, Fr. Z, and all readers, for your intentions.

In your charity, please pray for me. I’ve been out of work for several months and struggling with apathy toward this situation after a few false starts, even as financial obligations loom ever larger. Also please pray that I may know what God would desire of me as a vocation as I enter my fourth decade of life – I’ve recently had both a sudden desire for marriage and thoughts of priesthood (both of which may be difficult with a physical condition leaving me feeling inadequately suited for both).

Please pray for my immediate and extended family, that they might return to Holy Mother Church or that they might grow in faith and devotion, as it applies to each of them. Also that my sister and the father of her child might resolve the canonical impediments to their marriage being sacramental. Additionally, please pray for the repose of the soul of my grandmother, who received the Eucharist on her deathbed, but was unable to receive the other sacraments as her parish did not send a priest – she passed during but not due to the insanity which plagued the world a few years back.

Please pray for my parish’s administrator, that he may continue to guide the parishes entrusted to his care ever further forward to regaining tradition and for him to grow in his command of the Latin language.

Please pray for all those who are soon to be ordained, especially a deacon who is a good friend and another who has assisted at our parish the past several years.

  13. JacobWall says:

For a recently baptized goddaughter and godson (young adult mother and her 6-year-old son). They face serious obstacles as they begin their life within the Church.
