Prayer Before Using The Internet HERE
Almighty and eternal God, who created us in Thine image and bade us to seek after all that is good, true and beautiful, especially in the divine person of Thine Only-begotten Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, grant, we beseech Thee, that, through the intercession of Saint Isidore, Bishop and Doctor, during our journeys through the internet we will direct our hands and eyes only to that which is pleasing to Thee and treat with charity and patience all those souls whom we encounter. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Great song. My kids love it, they love the video. Still running, Father.
A VO Cowboy! Is that from your wagon wheels analogy?
My wagon wheels –
I hand out the “Know Your Mass” the 1950’s children’s graphic novel to anyone who will take it, hand out “Catechism of the Council of Trent” to the more studious if they appear enthusiastic to actually read it. ( a parish DRE, my kids, an SSPX friend…)
I want to help the Mass of Ages people distribute the TLM training they just developed. Between work, family and everything else I have not figured how to reach them to say I want to help.
Any ideas how I can contribute to get that TLM training better known? Please help this rhinestone cowgirl! (Brown scapular cowgirl?)
HOPE, Trump Vance elected. New Pope does the Consecration.
We live in a place known for its wind: a local brewery, named for the katabatic winds which come down from the mountains, has the slogan “A drinky town with a wind problem.”
I want this song to be our town’s official song. But the song is true for those other embattled things, too.
I’ve outgrown, or grown away from, much of the music of my largely ill-spent youth. But I still appreciate the music of Mr. Seger, if not his politics.?
Great song. I’ve always liked country music and The Highwaymen (Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson and Waylon Jennings) did a great cover of this song too. Their rugged, older voices somehow seem to amplify the song’s sentiments and give it an even more world-weary feeling.
“…critical junction in the history of the Church and our state…”
“Our State?” Is this “confusion,” “Wisconsin,” or somewhere else?
Wonderful song. I do feel like we are running against the wind of the World that has led both our society and church astray. For the church, we need to remember that we must be in the world, but not of the world. For our society, we need to instill the moral teachings of Christ (the traditional ones, not the modern ones).
