Let’s remember all who are ill, who will die soon, who have died recently, who have lost their jobs, who are afraid.
I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Some are heart-achingly grave and urgent.
As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

In your kindness continue prayers for my mother, who has been diagnosed with something grave and incurable.

I also humbly ask for your prayers for [our 8 year old son] Patrick. He has a lesion on his brain and is at the Children’s Hospital.
Patrick loves all things military and firefighters. For All Hallow’s Eve he wanted to be God’s GI Joe: Chaplain Emil Kapaun. This was his second time to learn about and dress up as Fr. Kapaun.We are asking you to join us in asking Servant of God Chaplain Emil Kapaun to walk this journey of unknowns with Patrick and if it be in God’s Holy Will to heal Patrick, we ask this through the intercession of Fr. Kapaun. I cannot link the website with the novena to Fr. Kapaun, but there is one on his website.

I ask this in the Most Holy Name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, ever one God, world without end. Amen.

[OORAH and LOL! It never fails. Someone asks for a miracle through the intercession of a specific Servant of God or Blessed and someone jumps in with their own. Which of course isn’t beneficial for the cause of the requested Servant of God as helpful as it might be for the person who receives a miracle… through …. whose intercession was it again?]

Begging the Lord to hear my prayers for a number of family healings that are needed – my husband and myself, both daughters, one son, actually all of us.

Also, please pray for me. I’m really struggling to not lose hope. I’ve been asking God for a few different things that are intertwined with my health. I’ve been asking for at least four years. I’m really struggling and am barely managing my life. I can barely take my trash out. I lose my balance all the time. I can’t walk very far. I really would like to believe that something good will happen to me. I’m running on empty.
[I’m sure the readership here, in their goodness, will stop and say a prayer for you, perhaps the Memorare that, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary – who experienced her own self-emptying and suffering, will obtain from her Son the consolations which will help you in this hard time.

I’ve just been diagnosed with cancer throughout my body. I’ve had PET CT Scans, blood tests, and today a colonoscopy. Next week we will meet with the Oncologist for the next steps for my treatment. I’ll be 88 in March and am grateful to Almighty God for these many years of life and my service as a Deacon (37 years)! If you could say a little prayer for me, I would appreciate it! Pleae pray that my husband finds a good job to support our family. He has ot had success in many years of job searching. But his current job has just gotten to be untenable.
