    Nice feedback from KC, MO

CATEGORY: SESSIUNCULA — Fr. John Zuhlsdorf @ 12:27 pm

A reader sent some good news and nice feedback about my post on the construction project in Old St. Patrick’s in Kansas City:

    Dear Father Z.

I do the Old St. Patrick Oratory in Kansas City website. Ordinarily we have about 200-300 visitors a day.

I just wanted to let you know that during the last 5 days since your posting about the Oratory on wdtprs.com, our website has received over 25,000 visitors with many of them coming from you.

You have a very powerful apostolate for the good of the Church, Father. And we appreciate you including information about our little parish.

I am sorry that I wasn’t able to come to meet you a little while back when you visited Kansas City. I hope I have the opportunity again sometime in the future. In the meantime I remain a regular reader.

I am entirely open to another visit to the great KC.   Maybe I could come down to sing a Mass or give a talk.  We can have another blognic, too!

    2. Fr, you are most welcome back in KC. I know I learned a great deal by hovering and listening intently to your stories.

As for the Oratory, it will be a real gem to be sure.

    3. Your Twins will be in Kansas City in August. You come down and I’ll buy the barbeque.

    4. Fr.,

How much would you charge for a 3 year stint at our local parish?
