My View For Awhile: Inertia Edition

Inertia describes the tendency of bodies to resist a change in motion unless acted upon by outside forces.  Bodies in motion tend to stay in motion while bodies at rest tend to stay at rest unless moved by some influence.  I’ve not been traveling much for a goodly period.  I’ll be traveling quite a bit in the near future.

I haven’t been iners while not traveling.  It will be good to have a break, even though it required me to be up at O dark hundred.

    Safe travels, Father.

I imagine there is some sort of plenary indulgence or other remission of sin for having to endure the purgatory of flying Delta so often…

Fr. James Jackson is our pastor in Denver. He’s a gem.

That is on my reading stand as well! Must-read about the Mass, whichever one you go to.

I don’t see it on Amazon. I ordered it directly from the FSSP HERE

Hey, I know Fr. Jackson! I have the last half of his sermon series on the Beatitudes in my car CD player and listen to it over and over — his explanation of how persecutions progress (especially those which deal with violations of the 6th & 9th commandments) ought to be must listening/reading for every Catholic in the world (and particularly in the USofA and Europe).

Blessed are they who live and worship in Fr. Jackson’s parish, for they shall never want for sermons that contain the meat and potatoes of truth, beauty, and goodness!!

Just ordered two copies of the book you’ve taken on your plane ride–one for husband, one for seminarian son. Both are so-o-o eager to have them delivered. I have enjoyed excerpts in the FSSP newsletter.
