That’s a spiff camera phone you have there :D

I wish it’d cool off more here in Dallas… leaves aren’t changing quite yet. :(

Lovely pix, thanks for posting them. We don’t have autumn in the desert
and it’s been dog’s years since I’ve seen leaves turn colors in the fall.

Father, you have a great eye for photography! Your angles are so interesting and that must be one heckofa camera phone!

  5. Fr. Z – From one photog to another, you have an artistic eye for the most simple things in life. Nice shots!

    Like the pictures!
But I have to ask, did you sweep the leaves like that or were they blown into the tear shape?

  7. John P. says:

Father, those are some really nice pictures! What kind of phone do you have, if you don’t mind me asking? Those are really nice considering they’re from a camera phone! I really like your composition skills, you definitely have an eye for photography!

    Thanks for sharing, Father!!!

I have to ask about the model of phone as well– I’ve had cheap digital cameras that couldn’t capture that kind of clarity and color.

Oh the sad beauty of Autumn heralding the ultimate end of all!

    excipit autumnus, posito fervore iuventae
maturus mitisque inter iuvenemque senemque 210
temperie medius, sparsus quoque tempora canis.

‘Nostra quoque ipsorum semper requieque sine ulla
corpora vertuntur, nec quod fuimusve sumusve, 215
    cras erimus;

tempus edax rerum, tuque, invidiosa vetustas,
omnia destruitis vitiataque dentibus aevi 235
    paulatim lenta consumitis omnia morte!

    Ovidius, Metamorphosis
