In London – arrived – new mobile number

I have arrived after a boring flight.

You actually want flights to be boring.

Once on terra firma there were some obstacles to overcome.

  • The jet bridge wasn’t working, so we had to exit with stairs.
  • Customs and passport control… no one was working, so that took a long time.
  • My UK mobile number wasn’t working, so I had to get a new phone number/sim.
  • My Oyster card wasn’t working, so I had to get a replacement.

In any event, I am in Clapham Park at St. Bede’s with the great Fr. Basden.

For those who might be interested in getting in touch with me, I will eventually send out some SMSs with my new number or give you a call… in the meantime, …

… my new UK MOBILE NUMBER is 07501852559. If you are calling from outside the UK use +44 and drop the first zero.

So, I am tired, but not overly tired.  I want to pry myself out of this chair and go into town! Maybe eat something.

Also, I am in internet connectivity hell.  I can’t get ANYTHING to connect at the moment. I may have to get an internet connect card for the laptop… or I won’t be posting much.

Until I get this sorted, I will leave the combox closed.

I hope that you’re all through with the ‘jet lag’, and you’re rested and ‘rarin’ to go’!

With regards to Internet connections overseas-isn’t it a pain in the ‘you-know-where’? How frustrating it can be!
