For those in the Seattle area, there will be a Requiem Mass according to the Dominican Rite at Blessed Sacrament Parish (http://www.blessed-sacrament.org/). Incidentally, they will also use the Victoria Requiem.
St. Joseph Church in Macon, Georgia which celebrates the High Mass extraordinary Form each First Sunday at 2:00 PM (this Sunday being All Saints) will celebrate also a Solemn High Requiem Mass with deacon and sub deacon for the first time since Vatican II on All Souls’ Day at 7:00 PM. Low Mass is celebrated each Tuesday at 5:00 PM.:
St. Joseph Catholic Church, 830 Poplar Street, Macon, Georgia will celebrate a Solemn High Requiem Mass in the Extraordinary Form for the Commemoration of All Souls, on Monday, November 2nd at 7:00 PM. Fr. Allan J. McDonald, pastor, will be celebrant.
Music for the Holy Souls (All Souls) Latin High Mass will be from Gabriel Fauré’s “Requiem in D Minor” and will be sung by The Choirs of St. Joseph under the direction of Nelda Chapman, with cantor/soloist Beau Palmer and organists Harold McManus, Jr., and Lewis King.
The following link is a very nice virtual tour of this “jewel of the south” church dedicated in 1903 and built by the Jesuits:

Wonderful, that is what I have asked for when I die along with Extreme Unction.
“This may be the first Pontifical Requiem in NY in 40 years.”
Ah, and wouldn’t it be wonderful if Archbishop Dolan, and not retired, already confirmed friend of tradition, Bishop Timlin, were the one to celebrate it?
Not saying it’s not wonderful anyway, mind you!
Greetings: Please let me know if this is not the proper place for this kind of post as this is only my second time dropping a line. St. Joseph’s in Bronxville, NY will have a TLM All Souls Requiem – Gabrial Faure – at 7pm Sunday Nov. 1, 2009. 15 Cedar Street in Bronxville. Call (914)337-9205 for details. Thanks
That Victoria Mass is very, very beautiful.
Great poster. That is a very nice (and much reproduced) woodcut.
And great news that this Mass will be celebrated.
And, yes the Victoria setting is a great choice, and being chosen in various places for this liturgy.
There was a Pontifical Requiem in Canberra, Australia, back in September, celebrated by Bp Geffrey Jarrett (of Lismore). The choir for that Mass also sang the ordinary from Victoria’s Requiem and the chant propers. A most moving if sad occasion. see http://rorate-caeli.blogspot.com/search?q=requiem
I’ll put in my blog as well, and pass it along to the associate pastor at our parish. Thanks, Fr Z!
Ooops! I meant to put this comment on the “All Souls Day – A PROJECT” post.
For all those in Sydney, the Choir of St Radegund of Maternal Heart Church, Lewisham, are also singing Victoria’s Requiem at 7pm High Mass.
Be there, and pray for the souls of deceased priests!
And keep an ear out for the second tenor part – that’s my part!
Awesome, Daniel! Not often I see my own chapel posted here!
http://www.maternalheart.org if anyone in Sydney wants to have a look – it’s run by the FSSP.
Wow, another Lewishamite! How exciting!
