Outstanding! That says it all! Their pasta looks overcooked!
A surprising article from Newsweek:
http://www.newsweek.com/id/236096
“But based on the surveys and studies conducted by different denominations over the past 30 years, experts who study child abuse say they see little reason to conclude that sexual abuse is mostly a Catholic issue. “We don’t see the Catholic Church as a hotbed of this or a place that has a bigger problem than anyone else,” said Ernie Allen, president of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. “I can tell you without hesitation that we have seen cases in many religious settings, from traveling evangelists to mainstream ministers to rabbis and others.”
Brilliant!
They LIKE their pasta overcooked!
It’s a well known fact that pasta sticks better when it’s overcooked. So they overcook it and put in all sorts of additives (in example: “defrocked”, “laicized”, etc) in the hopes it’ll stick better.
The motto should really be in Latin.
keep your eyes open and see how many stories will get published about this

Outstanding, Vincenzo! Another bulls-eye!
I’m with orthros-the motto should be in Latin. But then there would be whiners who would say, ‘That’s tooo haaard!”
And the spaghetti DOES look ‘overcooked’!
Is this the work of the Flying Spaghetti Monster?
IMHO the Church lawyers should be firing libel lawsuits whenever applicable to discourage this ‘see what sticks attitude’ because, others get scandalized by their false reports.
Vin: Do I see a mushroom?
:-)
Love it. Great job Vincenzo!
LOL. Father, you made a socially-appropriate choice using spaghetti.
However spaghetti isn’t what comes to mind for me.
signed, hoo-flung-dung
MAMA MIA!!
I’m with Tina, the Church’s enemies are just a bunch of chimpanzee’s flinging their dung, but that would be an even more disgusting logo…and another vote for the motto being in Latin.
PeterK-yes, I’d like to see how many news stories are going to be written about that!
That logo is just…”perfect”. Kudos, V.!
Yep, PeterK and irishgirl.
It only confirms the whole thing that somehow, those in positions of authority, whether it be teachers, coaches, priests, bosses, whomever, think they are “entitled” to sexually abuse their “subordinates”. This has much more to do with the sexual license unleashed with the “sexual revolution”, proliferation of pornography, the “asinine” moral teachings in every Christian denomination, as well as the “pan-sexual” sex education (which is anything but education, in the strict sense of the word) thanks to Dr. Kinsey, et. al.
This is not about priests being predators, ‘per se’. It’s about a culture that is going to hell in a hand basket.
