Joan
Thank you for posting these prayer requests, Father. I’ve learned from you to stop whatever I’m doing and to say a prayer.
Praying a Memorare for you right now and will remember you as always in my prayer intentions at Adoration tonight.
Done.
Done and I will remember you again before the blessed sacrament tomorrow morning.
I have your name inscribed in my Christian Prayer book so every time I pick it up, you’re right there with me. I will offer a special prayer for you after Compline tonight.
Prayed an Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be at the top of the page. Will include your intentions at First Friday Mass tomorrow.
Tonight, in evening prayer and tomorrow, in Adoration, I will remember you.
Why are Your Intentions Secret/Private?
Memorare said for your “other pending intention”
Glad the first one is being “developed”
Presumably, Father has a private intention because it’s a private matter.
Describing an intention, especially for someone else, may be impossible without invading somebody else’s privacy. If the person reads the blog, it might be embarrassing or angering for them. An intention may also be too private to oneself, or too difficult to describe.
There’s nothing wrong with asking, and there’s nothing wrong with praying for intentions that are private. If it were an unfitting intention, obviously God would just redirect our prayers.
Prayers said for your intentions, Father.
Done.
Will say my rosary for you today.
Fasting today, Father. Yor intentions are included with mine.
Prayer to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory be said for your intentions, Fr. Z!
